i've been trying hard not to start nagging about ©opyright
issues / bandwidth thievery / other forms of ignorance, 'cause i
don't suffer from that as much as some others do. nevertheless,
it _should_ be, by now, clear to everyone, that some sort of respect
should be shown, _automatically_, _always_ when dealing with other
people's creations. ugh.
hence _this_ little story:
the other day i found -again- kidnapped dolls of mine on
a site which i won't mention here, 'cause it's not a doll-site and
it's rather irrelevant who. so, the typical case: direct-linked,
no credits and -astonishingly enough- pre_cisely_ the dolls of _me_
and _my sister_ plus a third one,,, huuh? oh well. no big deal?
probably no big deal at all, but, for the first time, i came across
with the idea of _not_ first spamming the guestbook or sending nasty
emails, _not_ just changing the filenames and leaving the person
with a red x, but to show the person what actual risks this kind
of action _might_ carry within,,,
[and now comes the i-didn't-expect-a-kind-of-finnish-inquisition
-part >;P *lol*]
,,, by making dolls of the people i saw in the photos and naming
them like the dolls that were kidnapped! _right_, the people who
obviously _least_ deserve it, got custom dolls from me,,, how clever
is that,,, *lol* well, the moral here is not that whoever finds
the creepiest way to insult me gets a custom doll made by me, but
-still kind of in an ultimately nice way- warning the thieves by
showing that they _can_ and _will_ be found, easily, for that matter,
and that a site that contains hijacked graphics can be remote
controlled and is therefore very very _very_ vulnerable,,,
,,, does this make any sense,,,?! if not, that's ok, but to me
it does, and i had loooads of fun making these little portraits
:> the cowgirl was quite a challenge, but i like her a lot now,,,
